I make several different styles of jackets or cardigans.

For warmer weather, and particularly useful for spring and autumn, I make a loosely knitted jacket/ cardigan in single colours held together at the front with a painted wooden button. These are simple, lightweight jackets perfect for layering,

As it gets colder a warmer jacket is useful and these I  first knit and then used a warm wash to gently felt the wool so it becomes more like a fabric (Shetland wool is perfect for this). These jackets are either in single colours with a simple Fair Isle band around the sleeves and front, or like the one shown with graded  background  colours and a bold Fair Isle pattern to contrast.
